After playing all of Vanilla (up to AQ40) as horde I rolled an alliance death knight to play in a guild with a friend.

Alliance feels soooo dirty - also have no idea where anything is. Had to google how to cross between continents.

Horde just fits better with me. Alliance is really dull traditional fantasy. Horde is a little different (Taurens are very much your native americans). If you are just blasting through who cares, if you are big on lore have more of a think.

Loved Death Knight - it is fun being the bad guy for BOTH sides for a while.

Dual specced my 65 tauren shaman on Blackrock as Elemental - OMG this game is so much more fun. Was previously full resto and everything was a chore.

Now it is just Lighting Bolt + Flame Shock + Lava Burst + Whack = dead. Plus my MC/BWL gear is holding it's own just fine for now, though it sucks replacing purples with greens.

Also crazy how much I forgot - I got to Exalted with Frostwolf, have the high warlord mace and epic mount.. I remember a lot of AV but not that much.

Also got flying for both my new dranei death knight (now level 62 levelling in Zangarmash) and Tauren Shaman (now 67 in Nagrand). Makes life so much easier.

Have logged a support ticket to see if there is a cheap/free way to transfer my Blackrock toons to Aman'Thul. Nothing back yet.
