Wondering if anyone is having PS4 problems. Ours is a year old and is crashing while in use or crashing while in standby. Was thinking its some hardware problem as it doesn't seem to be in any specific game. Have tried Safe Mode and re-initialising but still the same. Now am seeing on Interweb lots of people complaining about update 4.06 buggering things up. So, anyone with similar problems and / or ideas for fixing same ?

I bought my PS4 last December. The only strange thing is when it makes a noise like its fan cooler is going to explode. But that happens once and a while. It wasn't a problem caused by the patch.
