Hey team, I used to have no problems using my NZ credit card to pay for anything sub $15 or so with my NZ post youshop address. But now I can't even pay for the $1 for a month of gold as special they have running. I tried my NZ PayPal but no go with that either. Have they locked it down now? Anybody else using the US store with NZ credit card? How do you do it?

It has been locked down for me for 4 years now on my US account. All other regions are same as Asian and Eastern Europe region had cheaper purchases. I buy XBOX gift card credit now through 3rd party sites forgoes regions and buy games that way. They are still playable under my US region account and Xbox set to US region.

Do whatever you want to do man.

Is there a particular reason for using the US store? The deal is available anywhere, even the NZ store. You can just switch the console's region to NZ to purchase it and switch it back to US?

I was using the US store as the prices seemed considerably less expensive last time I checked. I actually have some US credit left over but they require a backup to get the gold or game pass subscription. That's a good point though, I can just try switching regions back to NZ and trying that.
