Was bored last night and found myself playing (or trying to) slither.io.

Now, Ive played before and it ran perfectly fine, but now its laggy as **** and unplayable.

The only thing that has changed, is my ISP (Bigpipe -> 2D)

Anyone else on 2D find it laggy ? :)

Just curious.

When is this happening? Could it be because of the AWS problems?

I'm not familiar with this game, but it seems fine at this end on Voyager.

The servers are just too oversubscribed. It's laggy for me on BigPipe, so that isn't your fix. The only way I can play is using the SlitherPlus add-on as the simplified graphics improve the performance dramatically.

Still laggy with that addon. Never had the issue before, could just be AWS issue as MF mentioned. I'll go back to my Sims game ;)

Ongoing.... still have this issue. Runs fine on the work network, but laggy as hell on home 2D connection.

Have tried multiple systems, all show same issue.

Main difference I can see with routing, is that 2D goes via Megaport whereas my work connection goes via IX before hitting the Vocus network.

Anyone else on 2D able to test this ? I know, its just a silly game, but it bugs me :D

Odd.... wonder whats causing it.

I'm on ethernet, using the 2D supplied FritzBox, no custom settings on it except VoIP and ports for some services.

Don't see this sort of lag on anything else on the network, just slither.io.

Might do some poking around this weekend and see if I can find the culprit.
