At last!
Bought it on release for PS3 all those years ago and LOVED it. Still play it today via emulation :D
But will be buying PC version.

I'd hold fire until it's released - the port is being done by a third party, and the minimum requirements actually are higher than the recommended requirements for Red Dead Redemption 2, which is cause for mild concern.
Anything I say is the ramblings of an ill informed, opinionated so-and-so, and not representative of any of my past, present or future employers, and is also probably best disregarded.
Rather than get excited, I just get angry, Rockstar are the poster boys of not caring about PC gamers, but even by their abysmal standards 14 years is just taking the piss. If you absolutely must play their games, pirate them every time IMHO.
I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup.

Not advocating piracy in any way, but yes I agree. Rockstar literally dngaf about PC users.
Noob question: How is this different to the game already being available on Steam? I've played it a few times on my PC...
I'm missing something very obvious here! ð

Of course the obvious thing is that I have just checked Steam again, it's RDR2 in there, now this makes sense ðĪŠ
As you were...
LOL yeah, its the original game :)
RDR2 is an amazing game, but went too full on with the "management" of things. RDR is just a lot more fun and enjoyable in my mind :) GTA4 did similar, with the "friends"... so didnt enjoy it as much.
