Hi Guys

Does anyone know if the fritz 7340 works with spark vdsl?

I have been trying to set it up with user@xtrabb.co.nz password, PPoE and it keeps saying PPoE packets not recieved.

in Event logs it says PPPoE error: Timeout.

All of those settings above. be sure to select VDSL tab.

Yes that modem/router It should work I had used it on Spark's ADSL.

selected "Other internet service provider" and tried leaving it blank/Spark - makes no difference.

Yep followed them, VPI/VCI are not applicable for vdsl? they stay active with values of 0/32

PPP Protocol: PPPoE
PPP Username: user@spark.co.nz
PPP Password: password
PPP Auth Type: PAP
Encapsulation: 802.1Q
PCP Marking: 0
VID: 10
MTU: 1,500 or AUTO

Sorry, going by the suggested vdsl settings. I still have to provide values for VCI/VPI, by default it is set to 0/32.
And also vlan. But i cant find these innsparks vdsl settings

Technically there is no such thing as VPI/VCI for PTM-based xDSL so even if there is a mandatory field in the GUI to fill in it would be ignored. I think Snap specify 0/110 on their support material. Most modems should be able to auto detect the virtual circuit configuration anyway.

For Spark VDSL you must enable VLAN tagging (Vlan Mux)

Vlan ID 10 (listed as VID on Spark settings, sometimes also 802.1q in modems)

Priority 0 (listed PCP marking on Spark settings, sometimes also 802.1p in modems)

To be honest I don't see why the preset for Snap/2degrees wouldn't work for Spark as well. This would avoid you needing to set up network interfaces from scratch. You don't necessarily have to choose the "other internet service provider" option.

If you are still having trouble post up some screenshots of your settings.
