I have a Netgear N600 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit ADSL2+ Modem Router DGND3700
PC and printer attached to N600.
Portable devices use the wifi.
All is working well.
The N600 is upstairs.
I have a need to operate a laptop downstairs, which must operate via a LAN (for enterprise security reasons) and not via wifi.
What I wish to do is to acquire a wireless router for downstairs where I can attach a cable from the router to the laptop.
The connectivity between the upstairs N600 and the downstairs router is wireless.
My question is;-
Is it doable?
What type of router do I look for?
Any suggestions of a comparable make/model for the above setup.
