Hi all,

I'm looking for an affordable solution for a wall mounted comms cabinet. I currently have a Vynco vcc40 in-wall board, but it's not deep enough. My plan is to remove the doors and put a wall mounted cabinet over it.

I therefore need an open backed cabinet roughly 450w x 450h x 350d

It can be taller and wider but i cant go much deeper. Also probably dont need fans, but a glass/see through door would be good. Any suggestions?

Probably not more than $250 - they seem to be around $400-$500 new which I can't justify at this stage

I saw a small telecommunications rack with a glass door in PBTech Hamilton for ~280 last time I was walking through. I only took note of it because I thought the price was damn good.

May be worth a look.

Warning: reality may differ from above post

Thanks, may wander down to PBtech Wellington when the weather improves, which may be a while....

I was looking for wall mounted cabs a couple of months ago and PB Tech definitely seemed to have the best prices. My price bracket was sub $300.00 too. My problem was also that they wern't deep enough.

I ended up getting a 42U half rack off TradeMe for $100.00. Works great!
