To connect my Draytek Vigor2130n to my Telecom ONT (fibre) do I use PPPoE?

It depends on your ISP. It could be PPPoE, it could be DHCP, it could be a static settings.. Different ISPs do it differently.

Ask your ISP for the connection details

UFB is a Layer 2 service so it depends on how the ISP has implemented it.

Telecom UFB is always PPPoE with VLAN10.

Username is user@xtrabb.co.nz and password can just be 'password'

Little point though - the ONT is not supplied by Telecom, It's from the LFC.

I am presuming you want to REPLACE the Telecom supplied router with the Draytek, and connect to the ONT? If that's the case, then the advice above is fine.

Cheers- N

Need assistance with PPPoE/VLAN settings on Draytek Vigor2130n:
I have PPPoE & WAN VLAN ID:10 enabled & can't get it to work with blank username/password or user@xtrabb.co.nz/password

Are you running the latest firmware? Mare sure you upgrade with the right package to keep your settings.

You need a user name and password - eg user@xtrabb.co.nz and 1234567

And vlan 10

Good news - the 2130 is a great router I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
