Has anyone setup one of these ?

Must you have a USB device connected, or is there internal storage space?

I can see Fritzbox Mediaserver over DLNA (and in MyComputer) including a folder structure

but I can't copy in any files.

Based on experience with previous routers this is pretty much my thought too (and also why I haven't tried it)

Tried it when I first got my fritz 7390 and with my current 7490. It's a complete non starter. It's just to underpowered I think.

The attached drive also had to be formatted in a specific way if I recall. If it's formatted to Mac OS X extended the fritz doesn't see it.

seemed okay for directplay content, but i disabled it pretty fast. the question of "whats these two fritzbox things on the tv" got painful.

The USB speed off it was SUPER slow. I would avoid it. Install plex. Job Done.
