Have recently made the change from 2Degrees fibre to Spark fibre.

 

Have been using a Fritzbox 7490 but Spark have also sent a HG659b modem.

 

Can anyone with experience using both modems recommend which one I should use?  Cheers

How many devices are on your network, both wired and wireless? As the HG659 has a 32 device limit.

The FRITZ!Box 7490 has much more functionality and flexibility than the HG. It is also much more stable.

 

I replaced the HG with the FRITZ!Box when the LAN ports on the HG died one after the other over a matter of weeks. The FRITZ!Box performed flawlessly.

 

Connection through VF rather than Spark.
