I am going to be away from home for a while and want my home network to have VDSL uncapped with fall back to 4G capped.

It seems that a managed network switch may be required but I know nothing about these. Reading up now!

I don't want to use any web management access to my VDSL modem or my 4G modem.

Any pointers available?

Mikrotik router will do the business.

The type of 4G connection is the most important thing as it will depend on how you connect to it - ie. With your own gear, or a specified router (like a B315 or B525 for an RBI connection)
