Howdy

My internet connection to Telestraclear is very solid and stable using RTA1320. I want to network TV, AV receiver and Smartphone to Main PC (XP). I have tried a Thomson TG585v7 which I did have everything working but the TG585 would lose connection quite often (I have since learned from forum that it is most likely noisey line causing this).
I am now back to RTA1320 -  solid as.  Tried adding DD-WRT and will not work. I ran an XP tool - see below.
Any help most appreciated

Well you have a modem/router and a wireless ap/switch/router...

If you want the Dlink to control NAT, DHCP etc setup the two devices in "half bridge" here's guide
http://www.ben.geek.nz/2006/11/adsl-routing-solution-in-detail/

If you want the Dynalink to do that work the DLink to be a dumb wireless ap/switch setup in "wan bypass"

Cheers Ragnor - I used the second option and it all works a treat. Very simple indeed.

Many thanks
