I have the cavius interconnect. For HA, I landed on ifttt configured email notifications that HA reads. I trigger basic automations on triggering, notifications lighting etc. Webhooks would have been better but not free. I have their hub.

ew, going IFFFT > Email sounds particularly slow. And for Smoke notifications?

Fair, certainly not best practice, but it works. With burnt toast it came through within a few seconds. Good enough for a secondary use case. Recent renovation so had to fit the whole house in interconnected alarms, so they all go off if one does.

Wondering is something that listens and then alerts would be more locally and less cloud based
