Have a spa in a dark corner of the courtyard and would like to be able to install LEDs that can be turned on from inside via a remote!
What products can anyone suggest for this.

Not as cheap as the ones you found on flea bay but you could use this controller 
http://ledbulbs.co.nz/WIFI-RGB-strip-light-controller-android-iphone
and a led strip light 
http://ledbulbs.co.nz/RGB-changing-colour-striplight-waterproof


Or if you have a 240v supply out there you could use some of the wifi light bulbs http//www.wifilights.co.nz/shop
