Haha only the cost of one months plan more than outright. Waste of a day but at least got it early =]
Far out, so maybe apple have taken selling the phone outright into their own hands?
sep11guy: Just got email -
iphone now available from Apple NZ site
16gb - $1100
32gb - $1300
.............................................................
simple logic.

raab: Be funny if JBHIFI or MM stock the iPhone 4 before all you apple store purchasers get theirs ;)
ChrnoXIII: guts guys :p i has the iphones nao
mkl: Guys don't break on your first month, do what I did today if you want to buy on plan from Vodafone.
Buy iPhone 4 on $40 plan
$619
Pay $40 for 6 months = $240
Break contract after 6 months = $315 (inc gst)
Add them:
$1174
$75 more compared to buying outright, but you get 6 months of calls, txts and 3GB data (till Sept).
So in the end you'll probably save especially since you're going to be purchasing TXT2000, and additional data separately anyway.
Breaking during 0 to 6 months is costly ($506.25). I wouldn't recommend it.
