I asked in JBs today and was told they would only be selling Iphones with plans -When they get them.

Guys don't break on your first month, do what I did today if you want to buy on plan from Vodafone.

Buy iPhone 4 on $40 plan

$619

Pay $40 for 6 months = $240

Break contract after 6 months = $315 (inc gst)

Add them:

$1174

$75 more compared to buying outright, but you get 6 months of calls, txts and 3GB data (till Sept).
So in the end you'll probably save especially since you're going to be purchasing TXT2000, and additional data separately anyway.

Breaking during 0 to 6 months is costly ($506.25). I wouldn't recommend it.

Sounds sweet but remember to factor in the crazy expensive per minute rate if you go over your plan .... which will be where you loose out big time.
