If you are going to line up, enter the form over at the iphonenewzealand website. Just use your geekzone username followed by a (GeekZ) because as far as I'm aware, you don't have to register to fill that form out...

Someone let me know if they can? Would be cool to see what the queues are going to be like :)

Well yes. I have the money and will be getting one on Friday. It would be nice to know pricing tho so I can have a think about 16 vs. 32gb (Tho unless price is > $1500 for a 32 I will probably get a 32) and also availability details.

Will Vodafone do a midnight launch? If so, I may need to make plans accordingly.

How awesome would it be if TC again offered that huge $600 credit to bring your iphone4 to the dark side.

Well according to Apple the 16GB version is going to cost $1099 if purchased outright so the 32GB should be the same price as the current model or +$20 or so.

Apple have almost always kept the same pricing through model progression. From their macs to their phones. Usually the only difference is in the state of the nz currency at the time vs the release time the previous year. If our dollar is high against the greenback then they intro a bit cheaper. If it's really low it's more expensive slightly. You get the idea.

Truish. Except that this year the NZD is higher than it was last year at the time of release so really this unit should be cheaper but alas it is not.

$20 difference is nothing though lol and the plans will prob stay at their $*99 figures.

My bad, $80 cheaper.

I forgot that the 16GB 3GS is $1179, hopefully we see a price drop on the iPhone 4 plan costs for those of us staying on contract then.

thanks for backing me up. im in much the same position, especially availability details. apparently there is going to be very limited stock of the iphone4. it would be nice to not miss out. for some reason the manager at student IT said that initially the iphone4 will only be sold on plan because of the limited stock - prepay have to wait?

midnight or early morning release will also make a big difference as well as you can appreciate
