Went into the store and they had no clue what was going on either. Kinda funny really. Oh well I'm cancelling the order, I'll just get one next year. My 7 Plus is still mint anyway.

Spark Digital/Gen-i orders for iPhones have always taken ages IME. I don't think retail order information is going to help you.
You're probably right, just very frustrating and disappointing.
Somebody needs to start up an owners thread because I have some questions :)
Mine got delivered at 11, but I'm stuck at work all day! Should've changed my delivery address when I had the chance. Oh well, at least I have a chance of getting some work done.

Courier arrived around an hour ago and delivered it - busy doing software updates and downloading my apps back! 😃
Woohoo! Still waiting for mine in Marua Rd, just drove down the street from lunch and saw a CourierPost van pull out of a drive but then pull into another drive in the OTHER direction to my office... come baaaack!
Oh nooo - hopefully you get it shortly!
. Does your track and trace say its with the driver?
Went looking for a case today and everyone seemed slightly confused about the iPhone X, quite a small selection of cases too. Ended up getting a nice Incipio case though so I'm happy.

Yeah it's been with the Ellerslie courier for delivery since 6.40am this morning... we do have a Courier Post truck that comes here late afternoon every day to pick up our parcels so maybe they're smart and have it on that truck to deliver at the same time. The fingers are tightly crossed!

After a drama with the courier sent to a wrong address - it's finally arrived
I am quite impressed with the product but still very angry over the ridiculously cavalier way that Apple's delivery agent (DHL/Courierpost) treated my item. Those imbeciles left a parcel that the sender specified as signature required and which they clearly know contained a very expensive item on my front porch. Luckily enough a family member came by and found the item and brought it in with his keys. I complained first to DHL and although the CSR was polite and admitted that they were at fault, I was told to complain to Apple. Apple largely also wasted my time with just a whole lot of platitudes about how they will escalate to DHL etc, with no promise of a written response.
Apple just seems unable to control their delivery agents. TNT/NZ Couriers was a joke and DHL/Courierpost in this instance just took the cake. All that aside, all the hoopla about Face ID being terrible and how Apple was making a big mistake by eliminating Touch ID proved to be thoroughly unfounded. The way Face ID allows the phone to seamlessly hide and then reveal your notifications when it detects your face is superb. I love the physical form factor and it has instantly solved my two biggest gripes against the Iphone for years -- the physical ugliness and the stupid bezels. The physical gestures to operate the phone day-to-day have proved to be no trouble.
Very few people will "need" this phone but I don't regret my purchase at all.

Similar issue today, Kept checking the tracking which said it was in Auckland still, 10am still no sign of courier. Got to the front door and found it sitting there! Large sticker on the box stating "ATL not allowed" - they must of came to the house very early, didnt hear anyone knock.
Couple hours later a courier turns up asking about the box he left at the door, he was sweating bullets... he wanted the box so he could scan it! It was still showing as undelivered

Can I heartily suggest that you complain to both DHL and Apple? This kind of BS with other people's valuable property is not on and heads need to roll.
The iPhone X durability, scratch and bend test -
... and Apple's price to replace a cracked back ... US$549! (about NZ$780)
... and drop test
