mkissin:

I pre-ordered mine (14 pro, purple) at 2am on the first day and I still only managed to get delivery for mid-October. Sad panda. My 8 is way overdue for an update though!

Must have been just the purple - I ordered 12:35am on the release day but sure I checked later that morning and delivery was still tomorrow (but that wasn’t the purple).

I wonder what the stock situation is with the Telco's? I ordered through 2Degree's as my wife wanted to move to a monthly plan and the trade-in on her iPhone 11 was/is a good offer. I ordered the morning the pre-order went live on the 2Degree's site.

Based on my last experience of ordering a new iPhone via 2Degrees on launch, you might get lucky but I wouldn't hold your breath!

They still say "shipping from 16th" on the 2Degrees site for new pre-orders, when we all know it would be at *least* 8 weeks if not more. (not technically wrong I know, but Vodafone and Spark both say "6-8 weeks" for shipping, so it is wilfully misleading)

I placed my order on the morning of Saturday 10th and I haven't had a shipping notification today, so I am assuming mine might arrive before November if I am lucky...

I know from prior purchases that the shipping notifications have come through late in the afternoon so there is still some hope. I ordered mine about 15 minutes after their pre-orders went live so hopefully I am somewhere near the top of the que. (14 Pro Max purple 256GB)

Probably a good chance you will get in on the first batch then - fingers crossed!

I live in hope! I also ordered an Apple Watch Ultra via JB Hifi, not holding my breath on that one though, I will be amazed if it gets shipped out on the release day next week.

Argh, that's a bit of a bugger to hear. I haven't really kept up with the release date for this as I wasn't all that interested but did decide only yesterday to order a 14 Pro through 2D almost solely because they were doing a decent trade-in deal for my old S10e. If it does take 6-8 weeks to arrive then I won't be able to apply for the trade-in deal which would make me VERY salty. Plus I just figured it would make my life easier to get it in the mail.

I tried to check with their sales team but of course I waited on the phone for 15min before giving up. I suppose I try calling again or simply waiting with bated breath.

I guess if you ordered yesterday then going to the Apple website and looking at shipping dates for the model you ordered may give some indication? Unless 2Degree's happened to pre-order heaps of stock.

Just got the official notification from Apple that my phone has shipped (even though it's been shipping since yesterday afternoon via DHL)

Same. Apple finally deign to tell me it has shipped - 24 hours after DHL picked it up from them and 12 hours after it arrived in NZ.

Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

I ordered from 2degrees yesterday and it has shipped today. They could still run out of a model, but they definitely have stock on hand, and they usually do when I've known people ordering pretty late from them in the past.

Based on that, I will almost certainly be waiting a few months for mine then; I ordered on the 10th and I have had no shipping updates yet!

I ordered a Pro Max Purple 512Gb

An unpopular one by the sounds of it!
