Mine just showed up a short while ago (thanks, Spark!). Had my first Dynamic Island experience when I plugged in the phone ("Charging", which expanded out from the Island – very cool).

My one gripe with the iPhone–to–iPhone transfers is that you can't use either of the devices while they do their thing – so now both my vintage 13 Pro and the new 14 Pro are sitting there unable to be used 🤔

@michaelmurfy sorry to hear about your Spark pre-order. Mine was actually kind of a non-seamless experience too, the pre-order was in an "Order needs to be finalised" stage and they phoned me on Monday morning about it, all because the delivery address didn't match my billing address. I asked if it would affect my place in the queue and they said no, but there's definitely some kind of manual finalisation process that they're doing between the order being placed and then confirmed.

But, big props to them, they got the phone to me on launch day.

I've heard nothing from 2Degree's. I think some of these telco's would be sailing quite close to the wind as far as staying within the law when they advertise products for sale, someone orders within 15 minutes of the order page going live and then it turns out they can't supply said product and it is back ordered. Noel Leeming ran into some issues over this, I can't imagine it should be that difficult to actually know how many units you are going to have available and then advise customers accordingly.

michaelmurfy: Really annoyed. Ordered at 12:09am on Saturday morning when Spark preorders opened (replacement phone for my partner) only to be told that today my order was still on hold as a staff member had not progressed it, and now my order is backordered. There was nothing that Spark could do despite me doing one of the very first orders.

So I have just got off the phone with 2D.

They too had an order FU - mine was apparently "broken" or incomplete (despite getting the email confirmation that the order was placed) but has apparently been subsequently fixed.

Unfortunately they were unable to tell me anything about the time or status of the order fulfilment - only that "I would get my shipping information when it is ready" and a vague "I would think given that you placed the order early you should receive it soon"

This is the second year in a row they have b0rked both my order and the subsequent handling of that b0rkage.

Really poor from 2D TBH. I have no problem waiting for an order, but they are either incompetent or wilfully deceptive around the timelines and expectations of fulfilment on those orders.

What a rollercoaster that tracking has been! Anyway, my phone has arrived (still showing as out for delivery by DHL) and is in the process of setting up! Not a complaint at all, but it certainly is an increase in weight and size over my old iPhone X.

For those not following my thread in the 2Degree's forum I just spoke to a 2Degree's CSR and yes there has been an issue with orders not being sent to the dispatch team and no they can not tell you if they have stock or when your phone will be sent.

I'm a happy camper as well - 1st time using Spark on a release and it's all gone very well.

Hard to believe the difference in screen size between my 1st gen SE and the 14 Pro. Might not even need glasses to use my phone again  :P

Beautiful! Sadly I'm one of the people waiting on 2D to dispatch my phone - looks like it's going to be quite the wait...

Spent 3 days trying to get spark to sort out my order, in the end i told them to cancel it and i signed up with 2 degrees online. I'm over spark and there customer service and plans. I pay for 3 peoples plans and going to start moving them all over to 2 degrees.

If you’ve ordered an iPhone online from 2Degree’s I‘ve got some bad news for ya, check out the earlier posts in this thread and also the post in the 2Degree’s forum.

Yea i expect delays( and that's fine). But 3 days to sort out a simple order, place order, day 1 told everything was all good, day 2 i contact them and ask about shipping and they tell me i have to pay 99$ up front, (was not told anything about this on day 1) said give me a link to pay and i sorted that out, they said will be shipped out tomorrow, day 3 today and i ask about shipping details and they start with you haven't paid your 99$ and once i got that sorted out they are oh we will let you know at some point when you will get it (no eta). On top of that have you tried there online support services. You get some overseas person talking to 10 people at once, so you can have delays of up 1 hr to answer a question. there old system where you could go to there website, talk to a direct person 1:1 and have everything sorted with 15mins was amazing. Im now wasting my time trying to get back my $99 deposit.

Does anyone know who has an iPhone 14 Pro Max in stock? I've got a pre-order with Apple that still suggests its 4 weeks away :(

I don't believe there will be any stock anywhere. You could try the telco's to see if they had any of the less popular colours left but I doubt you will find one.
