I've not had many actual buggy issues with iOS 10 lately (except with 3rd party apps that haven't updated to support it yet), but I'm not sold on some new UI/UX changes on iPhone itself.  I'm going to reserve judgement until I use it on an iPhone 7 though - I think a lot of the changes I'm struggling with relate to the way the new home button and 3d touch work, which I don't have on my iPhone obviously. Seems to look/work really well on iPad though - I like some of the new layouts when used on the iPad.

Only problem I'm seeing is that the App Store doesn't seem to be automatically updating my apps anymore, I've currently got 11 pending..

AppStore is getting slammed with all the apps that are ios10 ready being released. I had 27 queued up, but it auto-updated on mine (slowly) without intervention

mattwnz: That is the same as mine. Maybe Apple think everyone uses IMAP now, and never needs to delete email?

Same here. I can only suggest logging it in Radar.

I agree, something just doesn't feel quite right with the new OS.Some of the new animations need a bit of improvement too. But guessing they will improve. You also need to have 3D touch to access a lot of the power behind iOS10, which is a bit disappointing, as it is only available on newer iphones, and not ipads. I would have thought they could have come up with a workaround for non 3d touch devices, such as holding down an icon brings up 3d touch features, instead of the 'icon wiggle'

Anyone found that their notifications remain on-screen? Currently my phone is showing a notification on the lock screen from 22 minutes ago and the screen still hasn't gone off.

You're not on Atlantis anymore, Duncan Idaho.

I have updated my ipad today, and noticed a difference in the way the lock screen works with touch ID. Not to sure if it is a setting somewhere. On my phone I turn it on by the on/off button, and just rest my finger in the touch ID, and it unlocks the homescreen. I don't have to press the home button. This is similar to how it worked in iOS 9.  But on the ipad it doesn't allow me to do this, I have to actually press the home button as well. Just resting my finger on the touch ID doesn't unlock it.  I have checked the touch id setting and both devices are set to unlock on touch. Anyone know why there is this difference occurring between devices?

Have found where to switch off the 'press home to unlock'. It is in Accessibility settings under Home Button, rest finger to unlock.

Did the same with my phone.

Unfortunately my iPad is vintage and doesn't have a touch button.... so I have to press the home button every time :-/

Thanks for that. I don't like how it still says "Press home to unlock" even after changing this setting, it should say "Touch home to unlock" instead.

I am guessing that will be updated in the future. iOS 10 has quite a few rough edges they need to fix design and usability wise. The widgets are still quite crudely implemented, they don't seem to be able to get them anywhere near as usable and useful as widgets on Android.

Quite happy with it so far on my 5S, if anything feels snappier.

Also noted had 1.8GB free before and now have 2.1GB free space post upgrade...

Just upgraded to iOS 10 on my iPhone 5S

The new app "Home" is not working; it's showing "loading accessories and scenes..." like forever and nothing happens...

That will be because it cleans out all the caching and rubbish files that iOS stores. I only had 500MB prior to the upgrade, and about 2.1GB after, and that is after it restored the apps it deleted. It feels about the same speed for me, apart from messages and music is a bit more laggy, and so is the keyboard to load.
