Have upgraded to iOS 10, 10.0.1 which is apparently the one the same version that is going to be released to the general public next week.I have however run into one annoying issue with the normal email app. In iOS 9, you could bulk delete all mail in the inbox of an email account. However in iOS 10, this option has gone, and you need to manually select each email, before the 'bin' button is activated. There is no option to 'select all'. I am wondering if this is a bug or they have removed it, or am I missing something? I did compare it to an ios9 device and the feature is in ios9, but gone in ios 10.

Hope not, as mine doesn't have 3d touch. But it looks like you do need 3d touch to access some features of ios10, such as the extra flashlight features.

From my experience with ios10, this will be one to wait a while before installing.

I haven't had any other problems apart from that. The only app that has problem is ASB banks, it keeps crashing and it disables touch ID. Generally I have found major iOS updates are pretty solid.

I've been running the beta for ages and have had a few random app crashes (mostly games) and one random instance of just switching itself off.

The phone updated again to what I assume was the general release of 10 and again, hinky with a few games.

Yep,mines the same re deletions, though as I recall it was an option when selecting "select all" do wouldn't be a 3D Touch thing?

A couple of my apps still crash now, but most should already be up to date, and the rest will be soon.

What bugs me most is the new AirPlay 'mirror' which forces your phone to remain on the desired video, where before AirPlay allowed you to continue using your phone and only handed off the video content... can't even see why they'd change that?

If you swipe over to the music controls, the airplay there is just for the media and doesn't do mirroring. I think it is dumb too

I have just checked mine - 6s Plus with GM 10.01

I do have "Mark all" as an option at the bottom left of the mail window, but it only allows me to "Flag" or "Mark as read". The "Bin" button is greyed out in the bottom right unless I actually select an email...which you can do one by one, but not through the "Mark all"

Conclusion:

It is either a bug or an egregious oversight/change to function in the new version.

In all other respects, IOS10 has been pretty good except for my CarPlay has gone all janky with the last release, whilst it worked fine in the betas...

That is the same as mine. Maybe Apple think everyone uses IMAP now, and never needs to delete email?

Anyone installed iOS 10 on a iPhone 5S and/or iPad 4th gen yet? Curious if any performance issues before I take the plunge...

I've done it on my 5s. Little bit laggy opening messages and receiving them initially but seems to have worked itself out now. That's the only issue I've noticed so far.

Excellent, my iOS devices are getting to the age where a bit nervous about upgrading the OS, esp given how difficult it is to rollback.

Only problem I'm seeing is that the App Store doesn't seem to be automatically updating my apps anymore, I've currently got 11 pending..
