I tried to get one under the skin on my daughters leg (she's always wandering off), but my stitching was terrible and it made a real mess.  Is there a kit for that from Apple, or do we need to get a doctor to do it?

Two-pot epoxy adhesive.

FineWine:

So will these work on our iPhone 7 iOS 14.5 as we would like to attach them to our two new eBikes.

Sadly, I predict, once they become popular, the first thing thieves will do is look for them (won't be difficult) and remove them.

Remember, airtags are not an anti-theft device, they are to help you locate a lost item.

I'm sad that they've kept the chin, but also moved to 16:9. Why didn't they scrap half the chin and use 16:10?

Looks like the chin is mostly that size to fit the speakers and mainboard and keep the device as thin as it is.

You're right, but I don't like it!

WWDC will be very interesting this year.

I'd be surprised if there wasn't some ability for iPad Pro to run Mac apps. They have common hardware now and Macs can run iOs apps so that's the next logical step.

I would like to see the ipad pro, now that it uses the M1 ship, to run Mac OS. There must be some convergence between the OS happening soon, because the ipad pro is such a crippled device due to the ipad OS. Mac OS has become more ipad OS like. Maybe apple just need to bite the bullet and do what Windows did. Windows is faaaar from perfect but allows tablets to be far more useful as productivity devices. I use my ipad pro for some productivity things, but it is too crippled to replace a proper computer, mainly due to the software and limitations of ipadOS. If you want to render a movie on the ipad, you can't do anything else, as that app must remain active, whereas on a desktop you can still do other things while videos are rendering.

Just a thought on the Airtags.

Apple has built in pretty good functionality for alerting you if someone is secretly tracking you using Airtags, but... and it’s a big but, that protection is only available if you are also an iPhone user.

From what I can see, there is nothing to stop an iPhone user using Airtags to secretly track an non-iPhone user without their knowledge.

Once on the market, if these things really take off, Airtags may actually be an effective Trojan horse* for moving people across to the iPhone ecosystem solely for the piece of mind of having protection from being tracked without their knowledge.

* An unintentional Trojan horse, I’m not suggesting Apple designed Airtags with this in mind ...

That implies people care that their phones already track their every movement.

Anonymised tracking by a large corporate solely for advertising purposes versus location tracking by a jealous spouse or partner. I think people will care.
