They will NEVER release that information lol, maybe units sold but I doubt the split

True dat, I have both an XT (account) and VF (prepay), and was going to sign up back on account with the VF, but with the lack of info so far I think I will be happy to break that contract (if they wont sell outright of course). ?It is some pretty poor PR on their behalf.?

Exactly. I am currently on a 3G $80 plan so will think carefully before resigning.

How about TC and 2D both announce how many iphones have popped up on their network after the weekend and we do the math ourselves =D

Man, looking at the recent chats to Vodafone on Twitter, a lot of people are annoyed at getting no information while they are pushing people away by not releasing not only prices but also stores etc carrying them.

I have to say this is a VERY stupid way to launch a product.

On a side note, how is this launch compared to that of the 3GS?

UrbanGrafix: I am sorry but the person from Gore is 100% wrong. Having all the stock only up north is the stupidest thing that any company could do.

That's what I thought as well.

In the iphone 4 pricing thread on the VF forums someone posted an email they got from a VF CSR stating that 2 stores in Invercargill would have stock but then apparently that may not be correct either.

It does seem absurd that even the VF staff in stores still do not know what the situation is, must be really frustrating for them as well.

I was with Bellsouth before Vodafone bought them and have been a Vodafone customer ever since!

I recently switched from postpaid to prepaid as I was getting sick of VF incorrectly billing me and ferking up my account options.

Safe to say my iPad is not on XT, and my iPhone soon to be.

The only thing that has stopped me moving is that our whanau are on the "Family" plan where we can call each other as much as we want for $20 total. Now if only Telecom offered that we would all be making the switch.
So VF to me =
Bad Coverage where I live (In Nelson) and where I visit (Woodstock) where XT I get full coverage
Bad customer service
Bad Billing practices and control
And to top it off they charge you $1 each time you need to talk to somebody! WTF

Slowly but surely we will be taking all our iPhones to XT.

For now I will have one on VF and the new iPhone 4 on XT

I cant wait to get an iPhone 4, and I think the lack of info so we can be prepared and informed for launch is only making people pissed off. I have my name on a list at a VF store at the moment so hopefully I will get one in the following week.

I was going to ask if people have called their local stores to reserve an iPhone as I know you could reserve them with the 3GS well thats what happened anyway.

"Get more from the iPhone 4 with these great value caps and data inclusions. Stop by Wednesday to view full terms and conditions, retail store locations, and more. "

Now they have gone a step further than VFNZ and put plan pricing up, but still they have no subsidy pricing or store details.

SO I think (I do my best not to think about these things) but it could be Apple who is torturing us all.

Its not apple as the other carriers have already released time and stores and so have VodafoneAU as they are having a party for people who go to the midnight launch yet here we get nothing and no information. AWESOME

They just structure their subsidy differently. Instead of $xxx.xx up front, they do a monthly charge on top of the plan price.

Oh your all right, my bad, I didnt dig much further into the site, I guess I also assumed they wouldn't have a quote about more details on Wednesday after Wednesday.

So we can pretty safely go back to roasting VFNZ for holding us up.

I am not 100% sure about the distribution channel here, but does anyone have an insider at Rennaisance?
