Magnum Mac just told me they couldn't confirm whether they'd have any iPhone 4's tomorrow morning or not. They suggested keeping an eye on the Apple NZ site for a list of resellers.
Well someone managed to piss vodafone moderators enough that they locked the threads related to iPhone.
I can't see why is it so hard for someone to just say:"Unfortunately we cannot announce any further details, contrary to what we said in our last email. We're sorry and will let you know the latest information when we are allowed to. Thank you for your patience and support."
At least that will keep potential customers happy. Oh wells...
I, for one, will be watching the 6 o'clock news tonight - i don't normally - but something tells me the media will be ahold of all the bitching us geeks have been doing - and may have made an awkward call to VFNZ - that or VFNZ may announce something - just a thought.

As of right now, nothing is 100% for sure, but I am fearing a worst case scenario I’ve been told of may be about to materialise: This is that NZ stock is the in the high-hundreds/low thousands, and will be at Voda Official Retail Locations to begin with (to On-Account only) of which there are 9 in NZ (Voda Lambton Qy is the one in Wgtn). Voda dealers like MagnumMac, MobileFirst etc will not be getting them initially. Nor will Apple Multi-Sellers like DSE, Harveys etc. Tthere has been no talk/confirmation/reports of stock being delivered to the Dealers or Multi-Sellers. And I’d know. So this is why I am a affraid of this scenario playing out Second scenario is that 31 Locations around NZ will be getting them. But I don’t know who they are. Obviously Voda and perhaps their dealers and MagnumMacs and DSE’s and the like? No idea.
It’s going to be a scramble for information starting about midnight tonight and peaking at 9.00am tomorrow. At 9.00am tomorrow retailers who have them will know about and will be able to tell you about it. My sources and I are concerned about very little news of stock shipments going around to retailers. Roll outs, IDU setups and promo material goes up tonight at end of trade and only by store Mgmt and Apple, Voda reps in the stores that will carry them. So my advice is to drive around your local shops and see if there’s action in their shop windows after closing tonight.
Oh and I do feel a little bad for Vodafone, because it’s not them keeping the info under wraps, its Apple. This is what happened with the iPad and the iP4 roll-out, so far, appears nearly identical.
