Yes it could, no neither am i, she said the date that we have been given already is subject to change so, it may improve a little it automatically or may improve by me causing a fuss.
I'm going to wait till the Telcos allow outright to geta 5. Then I can go to a store and get my connection moved from micro to nano and port my wifes number to a microsim for my 4S. I suspect and hope that may also be 3-4 weeks away
mule: went and picked up my pre ordered iphone 5 from telecom this morning, its very very cool, nice to hold.
Only bummer is that the porting of my number from vodafone is not scheduled to go through until 5pm next tuesday. Call the phone number on the letter to try and organise bring it forward, but was told not often done, but they would pass onto the right team to request.
Might have to hack my vodafone micro sim to size until then!
I pre-ordered mine last sunday and my porting was also scheduled to go through on Tuesday. Also rang the number and got it changed to today at 11:00am. Half an hour later and one reset, successfully ported.

Cool- hopefully mine is going through right now - had no luck with person on phone, but using automated service I got date/time changed and then confirmed.
