On Vodafone's website my order now says "Shipping Status Pending".
No idea what that means but hopefully it means I will get it in early October.

mahdibassam: Loving my 6S Plus so far. Coming from a Galaxy S6. The ease of use and simplicity and just everything about iOS is incomparable.

Me too... Not quite the stark comparison for me (upgraded from iPhone 5S to 6s Plus) but it's such a huge leap forward in terms of screen real estate, speed, camera, touch ID...

ich liebe es...

Good News guys, apple just changed their estimated delivery dates. If you order today, the 29th of September you can expect your 6s to be delivered on the 5th-9th, and if you are ordering the 128GB 6s you can expect delivery on the 1st of October! However the iPhone 6s plus is still in high demand, it takes them 2-3 weeks now, so that's good news! So anyone who pre-ordered and hasn't still received their phones, expect delivery soon!

That's a bit of a bummer, I ordered mine 2 weeks ago now and someone who orders theres today will get it at the same time as me! (estimated delivery 12 - 19 Oct)

Which indicates they have more stock coming in than they have backorders which is a good thing isn't it?

I believe that the second wave(more stock) of iPhones come in on the 2nd of October but don't quote me on that, I read this somewhere a while back.

I just went into a 2degrees store and apparently stock of the Plus is weeks away and they're not even taking pre-orders which is funny because they appear to be taking pre-order the 2degrees web site.

So, I guess I need to decide whether to buy one online from 2degrees or direct from Apple. I imagine Apple might be quicker but 2degrees will offer the benefit of spreading the payments over 24 months. Either way it doesn't really matter because I'm not in a huge hurry to get the thing, and when I do I have the cash to pay upfront if necessary.

I think you can spread payments over 18 months with Apple.

That was quick delivery from Auckland to Hamilton via DHL! Have it in my hand. Teasing my wife while I am at work. Good service from Apple. Ordered 6S on Monday and delivered Wednesday Afternoon. It has come from Australia.

Hey guys, I can confirm that new stock arrives on the 7th/8th of October, especially the 6s plus's. Don't worry if your item is still "Processing" or shipping status is "Pending". They will deliver the phones as soon as stock hits the warehouse. However I was told that online orders will be prioritized

So I made the jump from android to iOS, my last iphone was a 3gs many years ago.
Have to say I'm enjoying it, some things bug me like getting notifications for emails etc and then finding that I have to wait for the mail client to download it.

However Android wear sucks on it, but I fixed that by getting the apple watch, it was my birthday yesterday and that is the excuse I am sticking with :P

Oh and some things that were free in apps on android is paid on iOS :(

iOS has come a long way and the battery life seems good, an example of it is using spotify for an hour used 1% battery on my old z3 compact it would use about 8%

My status has change to "Preparing for Shipment", I assume that stock has arrived earlier than they thought? I was told they change the status of your shipment 24-48 hours before the initial shipment.
