ZM just stated that the phone goes on sale today, but had no concrete details on plans/pricing - probably just assuming based on the Apple press conference.

Ditto with Vodafone Queen Street and JB-Hifi at 0800 hours!

I'll be the cold looking bloke with the Dell M11x with a tethered 3G ;D
(Dependant on price, if they have it, I may not even get one... teeheehe)

I'll be the heavy set furry one standing around playing Doodle Jump. Best of luck.

one of the main reasons i'm so looking forward to getting this bloody phone is just so that i can have my life back! who else has squandered far too many hours thinking about androids, jobs and his turtlenecks, the antenna, the no comment by VF debacle etc etc?

Sitting here outside MagnumMac Newmarket... Lots of people and lots of excitement but no stirring yet...

Have you seen the sign outside the Wellington Vodafone store? There is a pic on iPhoneNewZealand that Vodafone are not launching the iPhone 4 today... Lets hope other resellers have it!!!!

I think it all comes down to Apple not liking to be used as an endorsement in mobile operators' wars http://www.geekzone.co.nz/forums.asp?forumid=76&topicid=64694...

Computerworld:
Other telcos, such as Telecom, 2degrees and Orcon, have indicated they too will be selling Micro SIMS that can be used in the iPhone 4 and iPad. However, none of these telcos have an official distribution deal with Apple.

"Nobody else has got a network that Apple trusts enough to run an iPhone on," Brislen says.

They probably didn't like the statement and called the whole thing off.

How many people are lined up outside MagnumMac? Is it worth coming to join?
