This was a "problem" with the iPhone 4 as well.  From memory, it's just due to the glue still drying and should disapear in a few days.

No, I still have a 3GS ( :( ) but it was a pretty big thing last year, after the antenna issue.  There's a new story about it again for the 4S which mentions the history of it, http://news.cnet.com/8301-13579_3-20121897-37/iphone-4s-users-seeing-yellowish-screen-tint/

Behodar: I called Telecom and apparently my old SIM is still showing as connected despite not actually working. And even more fun: The courier tracking number is rejected by the CourierPost site. Great...

Update: I've emailed Telecom (instead of calling) and asked for the number, to avoid any transcription errors. Hopefully I'll get a working number this time.

Another update to this: The same tracking number is now working, and it's listed as being with the courier driver now. I wonder why it wasn't recognised yesterday but at least it looks like I'm almost sorted :)

The guy who sits next to me bought the 64Gig version from the Telecom Store at Silvia Park, Auckland at the weekend. He said the service by the staff was very good and helpful. Just in front of him was a Chinese family of 5 who bought one each. Good on Telecom for getting behind the launch of the iPhone 4s in NZ..

I also bought one from Silvia Park Telecom Store, it was all very good and smooth. It was all done just in an hour, I transfered from Vodafone to Telcom.

Mine has a cool screen if anything and what clearly appears to be a correct colour balance. Cooler but not a cool screen. The whites are a nice clean white, and the green and blue is clean. I did notice that my iPad2 is a little warm, but colours are correct.

Those that have this issue how is it if you turn tne brightness up or down, any benefit?

Has anyone pre-ordered from the Apple store? Any update on the delivery status?

This is ridiculous! The courier has lost my new phone; the post office says that the courier depot has it and the courier depot says that the post office has it. Meanwhile my old phone still doesn't work and 123 can only suggest leaving the battery out for five minutes. I also tried the local Telecom shop which refused to help on the basis that I didn't buy the phone there.

I have now been without a phone for 30 hours and it doesn't look like anything's going to be fixed in the near future.

Edit: Sorry about that, you can imagine my frustration (posted that as soon as I got home) but I've cooled off a little now!

Mine is still showing expected delivery as 14 - 21 November. I've not had a dispatch notice for the iPhone yet, although all of the other items that I placed within the same order have now arrived.
