I did this, I ordered mine online last Tuesday and got it yesterday. They apparently still have stock online but not Vodafone. Store stock is variable and you should call around first to see who has one before visiting.

Ordered within a few minutes of the store updating and my order is now 'Preparing for Shipment' and shows delivery 15/11/2011 - 22/11/2011 (be impressive if it arrived yesterday!)

Mine has also just flicked over to 'preparing for shipment', but with a delivery date target of 14-21 November which matches the dates originally quoted.

I powered on my 4 and put it side by side with my new 4S. The 4S is definitely more yellow... I turned the brightness up a tad which helps, but it's kinda bugging me now.

Possibly, but to me it's almost a question of clarity. The bluer look appears cleaner and clearer to me. The black text really pops off the blue-whiite background, whereas it just doesn't have that same pop off a warmer white.

Edit: and actually, when I compare it with my iPad it's definitely different. Might go have a chat with the friendly Telecom staff, see what they think.

I guess that is a personal preference, but its not natural. If you look at something white (not on a screen) does it have a strong blue cast or is it warmer? To me it is warmer and the warmer iPhone screen is more natural. With a blue-white pictures will look unnatural and skin tones will be off, and the black text being cooler just flattens it and loses definition, ok for solid text as it will make it look sharper, but not so good for a picture as you've lost any graduation.

I certainly wouldn't say it is a fault with the iPhone screen, in fact quite the opposite.

And yet another iPhone gets replaced for no reason as unless your iPhone has a real yellow tint to it the next one will be no different.

Seems a little unfair to me that people keep getting replacements when it's just a perception of the colour, mainly because they have read on a forum that other people have had a problem with a yellow screen. If your iPhone really did have a yellow screen you would have been able to notice it without needing to compare it to your iPhone 4.

With all these unnecessary replacements it means there will be less iPhones for sale for other people, or less replacements for people with a real fault on their iPhone. Telecom will have to draw a line somewhere then all problems will need to be verified by a service centre however obvious a fault it really is before replacement!

I'm not having a go at you directly, by reading forums doubt has been planted in your mind so now you need to check it, it's a natural thing to do, just frustrating.

If all 4S phones have the same 'warmer' white I'd be fine with that. But, I have two other iDevices as a yard stick, one that I still use very regularly, with a cooler, and to me, clearer white. I don't need to read the forums to doubt, I just look at my iPad.

Im happy with my 4S, it looks the same as my 4. Comparing them side by side, the 4 is a teeeeny bit bluer, and thus cooler, but very minimal. If I ignored that and looked at the colours I cannot tell.

My iPad2 is warmer, I noticed that, I don't get a true white as white, but brightness helps. But the colours are excellent and natural. Again, if I look at webpages, photos, I'd never know, so I do agree with Teeps fully.
