So it sounds like you'll get it a few days before the originally quoted date? Still no movement on mine. :(

The expected delivery is by the 11th, so just in time for the weekend.
What model did you order? I went stainless with the white band so shipping may depend on the model ordered maybe?

It sounds like you've ordered exactly the same one as me (42mm). I think I ordered mine a week after you, hence my original date estimate being a bit later than yours. I'm still really hoping that I might get mine by Thursday next week so that I will be able to take it to the Queenstown Marathon, but I'm not betting on it.

Keep us updated - I'll be interested to know when you receive your delivery and your first impressions.

Picked up this morning, but was working all day so didnt really get to have a play, but...
First impression:
Having come from the first gen aluminium version the stainless steel has some real heft in comparison, surprisingly so.
Immediately swapped the white band for the nomad mpdern leather strap and it just looks awesome.
It appears snappier to respond, although its been close to 2 mnths since i sold the old one and there has been anupdate as well so an hinest opinion here is a bit biased.
Setting it up was a breeze over bluetooth, it restored from the stored backup of my old watch on the phone over bluetooth, i had it up and running within about 30 minutes.
Overall, im pretty happy, im glad i upgraded to the steel (looks almost chrome in person), the new interface and quirks will take some adjusting too, but i look forward to usng it properly over the next few weeks.

Congratulations! It must be a relief after all that waiting!

It's good to hear that you like the stainless steel. I was unsure because the price difference seems quite steep, but I am old fashioned enough to consider a watch to be a piece of jewellery so I want it to look good. The sapphire display lens is also a significant plus.

I'm looking forward to getting mine - hopefully next week but I'm still thinking that it could spill over into the following week.

Finally got my series 2 ordered from apple

I tried to put my series 1 casing protector on the series 2 and it must be just slightly bigger as it was to tight. Will have to see if they make them for the series 2.

Does anyone else have the problem of the strap being to short? I mean its pretty much a standard size I think but still to short for me.

Hmmm I have only just discovered this new 'docks" function Now that makes a big difference!

By the way has anyone come across a way of reversing the screen ? what i mean is it is what I would call a dark theme , more black than white. Is there away to reverse that?

I got my shipment confirmation overnight, with delivery estimated for Monday. Whilst it would have been nice to get it sooner this date falls within the originally quoted window of 18-25 November.

This will be my first Apple Watch - I never purchased the series 1 due to lack of GPS and waterproofing - so I will share my first impressions next week.

Further to this the display is noticeably brighter than the earlier model, even on its lowest setting it is bright when inside (perhaps borderline too bright), and when outside i have found it alot better than the previous one.

So at present I have created my very own First World problem. I have a 7plus and and series 2 watch and a nexus 6p and a huawei smartwatdch. I am trying to figure out which system to keep. So I am swapping around during the day to see if a preference comes through. My nexus 6p has just updated itself to nougat which hopefully is good.

So my main focus of having a smartwatch is 1. to tell the time here and in the UK Tick for both 2. To receive notifications via the watch of Facebook Twitter Instagram Events etc. Here in lies a problem it seems with both systems. They both seem to be extremely complicated to setup and keep sending.

If someone has come across a plug and play method please let me know or any other solution that works and keeps on working.
