Just received a shipping confirmation for my space grey 42mm sport which will now deliver on 20/9, was showing two weeks until last night so pretty happy that it's coming early. Ordered during the pre-order at the same time as my phone which arrived yesterday.

Key things I'm looking forward to being the inbuilt GPS for running and the extra speed over the series 0 that I have currently.

Did anyone receive a series 2 yesterday?

Wow, that was quick. I was looking at shipping times for the silver 42mm with white sport band last night and was quoted 3 - 5 weeks to ship.

Are there variations in availability between the different variants, or did you just get yours really quickly because you'd pre-ordered?

Suspect its due to getting in on the pre-order.

The only one I like is the black stainless steel one, but I just can't justify paying $1800 for a watch :/

I ordered the 42mm sport silver with white band from noels friday, says it should be here next friday which was a good 2 weeks or more quicker than the apple store. Looking forward to rhe series 2 as i loved my original... Although having second thoughts wishing i had have stumped up a bit extra for the stainless steel, but thems the breaks.
The speed increase alone should be worth the price.

I got a 42mm Space Black Stainless Series 2. Currently living in London, so went and got it from the Apple Watch store at Selfridges, on the assumption it would be less busy than full Apple stores. They only had gold in the sport watches, the apple rep sold me on the sapphire crystal display that comes on the Stainless watches.

Had a look at the Ceramic one too out of the sake of interest, looks really nice, but apparently not a lot of the other bands look any good on it.

Looks to be a good selection of 3rd party bands on Amazon too.

all my bands are third party from Amazon, and all have been really good. I've never scratched the glass front either so haven't felt the need to upgrade to steel/sapphire.

I suspect the watch will likely change considerably in the next refresh and make any bands obsolete so didn't see much point in investing in the original Apple bands.

Now I'm really tempted to do that. I don't really want to get one shipped to my office from the Apple store because I may be changing jobs within their potential five week delivery timeframe.

Just ordered mine from the Apple Store. Delivers by 2nd November. Quite a wait but hopefully that time improves a little bit.

Went for the Space Grey Aluminium 42mm Sport.

Just need a dock now, didn't like the ones on the Apple Store so I'll have a look around.

I got this one a while ago on special.

Nice heft to it, and holds the cable n well without any flopping about of the charging disc.

Thanks for that looks good but I like the nightstand mode feature and I'd like to have a stand which utilises that.

Just want to point out to people that if you plan on going swimming with it "some" bands are not water resistant like the watch :)

Got mine yesterday from Harvey Norman Wairau Park - Space Black 42mm. Didn't pre-order and was quite lucky - it was one of only two Series 2 they had in stock, the other being a 38mm Rose Gold.

I'm currently reading the manual online as I have no idea what I'm really doing with it!

Care to link the OS3 manual as I'm having difficulty finding it myself ☺️
