The trouble with this Zalman is that OS 4 beta 1 will expire when OS 4 beta 2 comes out and so on until the GM is released. Therefore with every beta that is released the dev would have to provide you with the ability to download the latest version as you will have to update, otherwise your device recieve the iPhone PSOD and will become in-operable until you update to the GM release of OS 4 (or if you manage to downgrade back to 3.1.3).

iPhone PSOD

Also OS 4 is buggy at the moment and I wouldn't suggest installing it on a device you are using on a daily basis.

Cheers

It's also a major violation of the NDA - a developer could get in some serious legal strife if Apple caught them doing that.

You using a 3G? If you are I wouldn't bother upgrading until it's released to the public (not many new features as multitasking is disabled for iPhone 3G)
