For sale:

1x Sony Playstation - PS3 with 500Gb HD installed.
1x Official Controller
1x Standard def cable
1x Killzone 3
1x GT5
1x New Zealand Power cable

Video mode: PAL
DVD Region: 2

The PS3 is out of warranty and has been opened.

E3 Flash has been performed on the console and is running CFW (custom firmware)

The PS3, via multiman reported CPU temps of 80deg and has had new thermal paste applied to CPU and GPU heatsinks.

The PS3 boots and is fully operational but the right hand side LED now lights up YELLOW rather than GREEN.

I would prefer to sell this to someone who is into tinkering with consoles, flashing custom firmwares or can use this for spares and repairs etc. If you want a console for gaming or watching movies, then go to EB games and buy one from there!

I have used the console for a few hours at a time since and does work all OK, just runs hotter than usual.
A cooling case mod is probably all it requires - nice little project for someone and a decent console to use as a test bed.

TBH I wish I had never flashed it - it would still be going strong today.

Comes in the original KillZone box with all instructions etc.

I am located in Auckland CBD and would really prefer buyer pickup.

Price: $180

Thanks for looking

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you.
