Hello all

So its been over 24 hours now, and im thinking this plus is a little big for my hands..

Would be happy to swap this Space Grey, 6 plus in 64gb for a iPhone 6 any colour in 64gb or more

Let me know if anyone is keen, i am based in Auckland :)

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

I suspect Apple is going to get a whole lot of returns on the 6 plus

I guess it depends if people actually try the device first. Many here simply pre-ordered.

As for the bending issue If you're to believe the 9 complaints from 10 million sold devices and independent testing which shows it's not really any different to other phones the whole issue literally is a storm in a teacup.

There has been a heck of a lot more people complaining than 9

Apple will be skewing the stats

There's an interesting link from John Gruber this morning to a story about Apple's testing facility. Apparently 15,000 EACH of the 6 and 6+ were tested. Also "Consumer Reports" have tested both models and found the 6+ to be actually stronger than the 6.
Will put links in but the ABs are about to play.

Cheers,
Joseph

OP: you might be in luck. I have a friend who expressed some buyer's remorse over not getting a Plus as opposed to his gold (its ickiness is however covered up with a tasteful white alumininum-brush finish polycarb Incipio case :P) 64 gb. I am assuming your phone and case is still in perfect condition? Pretty sure his will be.

That guy is always up for a bargain and if he really wants to change, I will give his details to you. Should see him this afternoon.

There are also a lot of people clearly intentionally trying to bend their phone. The Consumer Reports testing really does point out what a non event this really is.

Hi Steveclifton,

Caught up with my friend and he appears to be taking the same line of thinking as you, i.e. that the size of the Plus isn't ideal. He's normally the sort that really jumps at a bargain but I think he feels pretty strongly now (after a couple of days of RL use of his phone) that he ultimately made the right choice.

Sorry :(
