Hi Guys,

Got my ESX Host up for grabs. Running ESX 6.0 on an internal SD card and it runs like a dream. I actually have 32GB RAM in it but will be selling with 4GB.

$200 Firm.

Hey, have you listed a price, location and how much shipping would be to other parts of New Zealand? Also if you are asking for a PM make sure your Privacy settings allow your account to receive PM otherwise people can't contact you. Also note if you are selling something we ask you to offer to other members first. Links to private sales (including Trade Me posts) aren't accepted anymore and will be removed.

Is the 2.4 quad a single quad-core processor? If so, what model? Do these run dual socket motherboards?

Hi, a couple of questions:

1) How loud is it? Could you work with in under your desk?

2) What SATA controller does it have? And have you tried SATA disks larger than 3TB?

3) Do you have anything you could ship it to Auckland in?  I am guessing though it weighs quite a bit? (Wow, 16KG minimum according to specs!)

1 )  It is as loud as my gaming desktop. When it fires up it sounds like any other server. It never ramps up. It never struggles. I have 5 VMs on it.
2 )  Here is all the information on the RAID controller : http://h20565.www2.hp.com/hpsc/doc/public/display?docId=emr_na-c01706551
3 ) I could ship it through work in box of some sorts, should cost too much i doubt. I may be able to find someone to get it to the city for pickup? Maybe not also.

Hey mate, as you'd be picking this unit up i'd be more inclined to offer it to you. Would make life easier for everyone.

You ok with this timbosan?

Yeah, not a problem - it looks like I would be limited by the SAS controller anyway (I am waiting to load it up with SATA disks, and it wont take greater than 2TB disks).
