Got an old RPi2 sitting here collecting dust so keen to give away to someone keen to get into programming or IOT.

Would prefer it went to a kid or someone starting out so hit me back with your story!

All I ask is $10 for shipping (I will courier it to your door).

For myself, I have a Xiaomi Mi Smart Wi-Fi Remote Control Multi-Functional Gateway, Xiaomi Mi Smart Temperature and Humidity Sensor and Xiaomi Smart Human Body Sensors on order.

I will install Home Assistant on it.

I'd be interested if it dont goto Geekguy. Would give to my 10 yr old daughter to use, wouldnt say anything to her except "google it, I want it working by the end of the week" ;) And she'd probably do it....

My 9 year old son is dead keen on programming, he had been teaching himself scratch (a kids programming language designed by MIT) from YouTube videos, but then someone damaged the psu to the laptop, so he has been out of action. He had been keen for robotics course and Lego mind storm but they both were out of our budget.

So if it’s still available, then yes please. There will be one happy 9 year old.

@xpd was first in so I will send it to him, if his daughter doesn't show any interest I would ask he forward it onto @kiwifruta if at all possible.

Cheers all. Glad it will get some use in a second life.

If you post the model of Thinkpad then you may be in luck as I have a variety of Thinkpad power supplies spare.
