Seeing as I've gone with an alternative plan, I now have spare my old server case that will no longer be needed:

YY-0221 Cube case

Google tells me it's:

SPECIFICATIONS

Case dimension

13.4"W x 17.3"D x 13.4"H

Motherboard configuration

ATX, Extended ATX

Drive configuration

Up to 15 drive bays :

  • 6 - 5.25" exposed
  • 2 - 3.5" exposed
  • 7 - 3.5" hidden

Optional system cooling fans

1 x 12cm Front-mounted (left side) fan for M/B and inside air circulation
2 x 9cm Rear-mounted exhaust fans

Slot Bracket

7 slots

Speaker

2.25" audio speaker

Anyone that is interested can have the old Athlon XP 2500+ that's been sitting in it since I decommissioned it... there'll even be a HDD or two floating around and it has a COA for Windows Home Server v1 attached to the side (shows you how long it's been since I used it - this was the server before the one I'm now replacing!)

Indicative pic:

Cause of how heavy it is - pickup only from Meadowbank in Auckland.

Any offers?

As long as it's under 25kg, it's within the size to be shipped on passtheparcel.

I'm a geek, a gamer, a dad, a Quic user, and an IT Professional. I have a full rack home lab, size 15 feet, an epic beard and Asperger's. I'm a bit of a Cypherpunk, who believes information wants to be free and the Net interprets censorship as damage and routes around it. If you use my Quic signup you can also use the code R570394EKGIZ8 for free setup. Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Sorry, yes it could be shipped, but for the hassle/risk of damage I’d rather not. I don’t have any packing material or anything...
