Hi all.  I am after a Unifi switch, specifically one that has SFP like the 150W PoE does.  Either something smaller like the 150W will do, or something larger like the USS-16-POE would also do.

Second to this, I am keen to get into Unifi Access, anyone have a starter kit for sale? This is for a pedestrian gate, so ideally something like magnetic lock included would be ideal.

Thanks all!

I've used one of these Ubiquiti UF-AE PoE SFP adapters with a US-8-60w switch I already had for a fibre run between my house and detatched garage a few years back.

It's a potential option depending on what gear you've already got.

I have a USW-24-POE I may be willing to sell if you're interested, feel free to send me an offer if so.

Just an update on this - thanks for everyone who has reached out, I have realised I need plan for future PoE needs so I am working that out over the next couple of days, to save having to update to another switch in a few months!

One area that has come up, related the Unifi Access kit, is that the Access hubs need PoE++.  It seems this is rare / expensive, if in a switch, so I am thinking of just getting an adapter.  Anyone know if this is the case?  The switches I have been PM-ed about are all PoE+, which is perfect for my cameras and access points :-) Just wondering if PoE++ is possible, especially given the SFP constraint.

The Pro HD 24 PoE has all POE++ ports. But really depends on how many POE++ ports you'll think you need.

I have this switch for an E7 access port and some other POE devices.
