Well, listing up.

Got my 3090 Ti that I really don't need the ram for and honestly, I'll be side-grading to a 5070 Ti or something.

Bought 22nd Nov '22 from Computer Lounge.

Just past it's 3 year warranty now.

I've got it listed online for $2k. I am realistic though. Happy to hear offers.

Still have original boxes and packaging, happy to include shipping in the price paid or you can pick it up.

You really need a lottery win to buy a five year old graphics card these days

Well, sort of haha. I just picked up a 5070 Ti for $1759 brand new?

The pricing for any of the 3rd gen or newer 90 series is just because of LLM or development workloads. Thats it.

It's a terrible value proposition for gaming.

I'm just looking for a RX580 8GB or similar, and even those are asking top dollar. Knew I should've held onto my 1650....

They are?

I know the Radeon RX 9070 XT GPU's haven't gone bonkers. You can pick them up new around $1200-1400 depending if there is a sale.

On note of sale. GPU has been picked up and paid for.

Fyi if it’s for gaming you really shouldn’t be buying anything older than AMD rx6000 series or nvidia rtx2000 or gtx1600 series.

Modern games (Indiana Jones, Doom: The Dark Ages, Forza Horizon 6, Gears of War E-Day) are requiring mesh shader support and do not have fallbacks for older cards.

The reason AMD requirement is more recent is because AMD did not support it until RDNA2, there are mods for certain games that provide a compatibility layer but its not reliable.

For nvidia gtx1000 series pascal are not supported, not to be mistaken for gtx1600 which is turing and does support more features.

I paid around $750 for my 9060XT last year. (Since sold that system)

To get an almost 10 year old card these days still looking at $100+. Yet a few years ago, I picked up a 3 yr old card for $100.

Pretty certain I've got an old 8GB R9 390 kicking around if you need something from that era?

Thanks for the offer, but bit power hungry for my budget system ;) Think I'm only on a 400W PSU as it is :)
