How about sending your customers a EMAIL that you cant change your plan mid month and the new data changes occur now only at the start of the next billing cylce.

Fantastic when your on a 80GB+ cap and you then realize you have some of the worst customer service phone waiting time in the entire country for any business and then realize that your basically screwed cause you have gone way over and before the sneaky question, ringing up promptly before the data went over to get it increased and low and behold... well well well, your "Leave your place in the terrible contact service waiting time generic message Press 1" you never get anything back and nor is their any recorded record of it.

Well done Paul and Orcon, another fantastic step towards probally being another Xnet by the years end.

Still a week out of date. This is getting ridiculous. 

I've also been waiting two months to get extra data and two emails and numerous apologies later it still hasn't been done. That's another matter though. Frown

OH tell me about it ! Mine's been out for about a week too. Came back online yesterday..BUT the data is still a week old.

If sometimes before the new billing period it comes back on and i get a huge bill. IMMA BE SO MAD

Yes over a week now.

How slack are these dudes, they wont own up and send out a generic email saying "Hey sorry guys, some problems here".

They get one or two people to read these forums, send you a private message or come on here and fix the problem without any Transparency towards the issue.

Not good enough, if you run a company, make a mistake, own up and learn from it. That way you do not have frustrated and irate customers. This was learned in the Pre ADSL Telecom expansion early 2000 circa, when the media went nuts about issues around it.

11 years later and what have we learned?

So much for being a Kiwi who wants to put his accounts with NZ company that employees NZ staff - only reason I wont be wanting to go to Telecom/Telstra due to those off shore contact centers, but funny enough Telecom is 10 fold better in waiting time, issue management/resolve of matters with accounts etc etc Then Orcon has been for quite some time.

With respect it must be a pretty common issue because I also have this problem. My usage meter is missing 6 entire days from it.

Hi Paul,

It's back to usable now. Not frozen anymore.

All I can say is : Finally. .....and hope it doesn't happen often in the future  (twice this month).

But other than that things are ok now...

It may be a common issue but we still needed examples of users so that we can track the issue.
Having said that we can replicate this and we are investigating what is going on.

I am glad your's is working now MHF, sorry for the time it has taken to get going.

I emailed Orcon support and they are very disappointing. Basically they gave me some SB answer said the meter will be back in couple days and totally avoided my question on what usage meter should I rely on, if I overused my data due to incorrect and misleading information from that data meter.

Not good enough.
