I've noticed a major slowdown in int'l traffic but I'm on the 30/10 unlimited data fibre plan. I'd heard from somewhere unofficial that Orcon maintain two bandwidth pools - one for the capped plans and one for the unlimited.
Is this true? And if so, is the current bottleneck in traffic affecting both bandwidth pools, or just the unlimited one?
Biggest user in my house is my 11yo daughter with youtube. I can just limit her on that then happily go to the 60GB plan .... before I do that however I'll need your help - your answer to this Q will be my decider.

I am not a representative of Orcon but the current issue is on BOTH pools. I am on the DSL plan (200GB) and am experiencing the same issues as everyone else. When asking Orcon why my PAID data chunk was not being delivered I got a copy paste of the info found online saying throttling can happen.
I have been a customer just short of ten years and would hate to have to change ISP's. Hopefully this issue is addressed soon.
