I contacted slingshot and here is the reply:

Currently the access to the Easyphone Configurator is being limited on non-Slingshot connections. Access to My Account has been fixed however we are still working on fixing the Easyphone Configuratior.

Here is the last reply I got from them when reporting this problem.

Thank you for using Slingshot's Online Help.Try using a different internet browser? There does not seem to be any issues accessing this on my end with your credentials.

I hope this helps to resolve your query. If it does not, please do not hesitate to reply to this email or to contact us on 0800 89 2000.

Hey Guys.
Slingshot is still arguing with me and saying that this has been fixed despite the fact that I have tested that its not working from multiple locations and on multiple ISP's

If you have an italk account (But you not using slingshot as your ISP) please can somebody test it from their side.

1) Login to my account
2) Click on "Manage easy phone features.

Tell me if you able to get in.

I also came across this strange remark on the Slingshot forum:

There shouldn't be any issues with the ability to manage your 'Easyphone' features.
If you are now on the plan where you are charged $5 for the Easyphone features, this will be available to you. To those who have opted out, it will no longer be available.

The 'My Account' access is now also open to all NZ/Local ISP connections/IP's.

Well I am still having problems with the iTalk features. I am not sure if they are included in Easyphone features.

If you have an italk account it should be working. It use to work prior to December 2012

The slingshot website also mentions it as free with italk.

It appears its renamed to "Manage Italk Features" on my account and it is still unaccessible.

Mention that you unable to access the "manage italk features" and "Manage my italk" via your ISP on www.slingshot.co.nz (List your ISP details)

Both should be working.

I already have and was told it was disabled to non slingshot IPs for security.

Well its "apparently" been fixed. You can always direct them to their own forum where they mention its fixed.

If I was you I would open a new fault. Or reply to the last email they sent you to re-open it.
