Dratsab: ... don't grumble at them.

+1

Could we have less b!tching about how you can't get what you want - that is life, deal with it and move on.

2Degrees are doing a fine job and considering the first number change is free there is nothing to complain about!

Long gone for me, unfortunately. Can't find a single 022 x that has 723235 at the end. Can't believe 5 million numbers have been put out. Did NZ double in size suddenly and everyone decide to get a 2degrees number?

I thought it was abit odd that I could not get a 022 4 number 15 - 20 minutes after the first post... most of the suggestions that came up were 022 0 .
Other then that, I am very happy with 2 degrees and there service.

There are still plenty there, just not the ones you want.

Too bad. That was the only thing (until they release proper 3G) that was interesting for me to make the switch since their launch.

Bummer.

Dratsab:

My point is - loads of numbers were available in the ranges specified. If the one you want isn't there or whole range is now not available, it mainly means you (like me) were too slow to get what you wanted. That's not 2 Degrees fault so don't grumble at them.

Well if  2D had what what allot of us asked a month before the launch to reverse numbers  then this would no longer be an issue.  For what it's worth I checked yesterday  as soon as I saw 2Ds post about this and found my number was not available.  "We weren't too slow"

Oh, that makes more sense. I was going to point out that number management doesn't work if you're picking numbers in reverse.

2degrees:
* You can pick from numbers starting with 022 0, 022 1, 022 2, 022 3, 022 4, 022 5 and 022 6.

Doesn't appears that there have ever been any 022 2xxx numbers released.  Have been trying to get 022 2328384 since it was opened up but it doesn't show any 022 2xx numbers are available.  Tried entering 022 2222222 any still no luck!

022 2222222 won't work. 2degrees auctioned that number - so it's a pretty poor test.

mate, I am not stupid. i tried a number of different 022 2xxx combos to try and get some close matches and it only suggested 022 3x numbers as the closest match.

clearly there are no 022 2xx numbers available!

I am using Firefox and couldn't find any range. Just had to try my luck with different combos. I was after 022 262 XXXX and found a number of different ones.
