Sorry I realised afterwards that I was in the wrong thread - definitely a problem between my keyboard and chair. I deleted the post.

@gehenna Can you talk me through how to do this please? In my long reply above I provided a screenshot and there’s no option to turn off one or the other

Nope, but Google can How to disable TCP/IPv6 (IPv6) on Windows 11 | Windows Central

Can I get some DM's please of peoples account numbers, current IP etc.

I have a team on standby to take a really good look into this issue. Keen to get it resolved.

It does very much smell like an IPV6 + PPPPoE issue but would love to confirm it.

Thanks team!

remove everything above the following line in your posting (you left your IPv6 address), pls

Your DNS resolvers are: Google International

SNAPNET

There was an issue in the past with snapnet, it‘s a realtime game dns resolver. Could you disable it and just use the DNS of your ISP instead?

I still recommend turning off IPv6 and testing with v4

I'd love to test - How?? image of Fritz!box setup menu below and doesn't seem to allow turning off one or the other.

Its not in the tab you mention. Its been a while since I ran a Fritzbox but it'll be _somewhere_ under the Internet settings.

Re your image, I'd disable the "Use Public DNS" option you have enabled. It _shouldnt_ matter but worth testing for your problem. It could be that whatever DNS entries it uses for its public one (Cloudflare, Google, 🤷) is giving something that doesnt route quite correctly from NZ.

His IPv4 address is from 2degrees and his IPv6 address is from snap.net. Quite strange on a 2degrees connection.

Not strange as Snap was the original ISP, 2degrees bought it many years ago.

If you're going to test disabling IPv6 in this case the most pertinent way would be to disable IPv6 on the FRITZ!Box.

@gehenna, I've disabled IPv6 with the help of my IT department (needed access permission). Tested with same websites/apps and no change.

I should also say that I was just on a call with my IT department and used TeamViewer. Can confirm Teamviewer (non-Microsoft right?) also doesn't work on the 2degrees wifi. So can add that to the list of applications that are affected.

Thanks for the PMs and info.

We have a team looking into it.
