Starting to disconnect from games , and the sites are slowing down again.. anyone else got this problem ?

clanmouse: So far so good. It's the afternoon and my browsing hasn't slowed to a crawl. Can still access Dropbox.

Seems changing uba type did the trick. I'd urge those of you still waiting on a fix to call slingshot and suggest the same for your account.

Now hopefully I didn't jinx it.

I think you jinxed it, things are slowing down.

I don't want to add any jinxing to the current dangerous level of jinxiness but I'm just grabbing a torrent to check and it's still fine. tvnz still fine and YT is behaving itself now.
EUBA change still successful for me at least.

So EUBA change didn't fix anything, it's gone back to how it was.. Talked to slingshot already hopefully they have this resolved by asap.

Still down for me in Hamilton. So frustrating. I sent an email to socialmediateam@team.slingshot.co.nz but an error was sent back. Now the Slingshot website says the issue is in Hawkes Bay, when yesterday it said Waikato.

hope the new ISP works out well for you. I am bound by a contact with Slingshot. So there is not much else i can do but either pay up or put up with this and hope it gets fixed.

FFS just got abandoned from dota 2. another week of low priority courtesy of slingshot. strongly considering going back to telecom, more expensive but worth it

edit: 89% packet loss on counter strike GO. NZ server. played all morning with 32ms ping and 0% packet loss. Now i can't even connect.

gz ftw

been with slingshot for over 3 years and this is the first time I have had any issues but their lack of transparency and the better packages thatare available now make the move too attractive to ignore

shame really

Guys, they are definitely working on this as a priority. Sit back and wait I'm sure it'll be resolved in no time. The BUBA -> EUBA was their first solution I'm sure they have other to try out.

I was just logged into second life and things were running fine. I noticed a connection slow down starting again at 4:30PM ( around the same time each day for me for the last 7 days now. ) Then at exactly 6:30 PM the connection to Second life died.. You could see in the region stats it was going as slow as 1-2kb/s. Dialup speed. Yet I have no issues logging into the World Of Warcraft? I cannot connect to any Battlefield servers what so ever. Skype voice calls will still drop though.  Steam downloads of games are absolutely perfect 1.2mb/s.

I think everyone has been very patient regarding this issue.  Keeping in mind this is close to the 7th night of issues here. I wish Slingshot was just more communicative regarding the issue.

priority is good, but this has been happening for quite some time now. 2 years ago when telecom had an outage for a day, we received a free bill for that month. would be keen to see some sort of "sorry" once this gets resolved.

edit: dont' want to double post. @manaia yea steam downloads are from their cache so it is usually perfect speeds. i did find that dota 2 and csgo won't work at all, but i can play CSS on some servers with no problems (not all servers). My dropbox has dropped a few times too. Youtube works fine on most videos, again, probably cached data.
