This was done a minute ago, back to crappy speeds again, browsing is super slow. I am sure someone at Slingshot or on this forum will be able to figure out what is going on with my line!!!!

Today is the 4th day since I first reported the problem, still getting very slow speeds, downloading and browsing both. Chorus tech came again this afternoon, checked everything and says it's all good, was talking about some sort of profile issue that is managed by Telecom for all ISP's! He said his boss who is a Senior Tech(same person who came on Friday) will call me on Monday to try and sort the issue, it seems no one can figure out what the problem is!!

For that higher than possible speed test... Your web browser or proxy server in your network may have cached the download file used for the speed test when it shouldn't have, so it was coming from local disk/memory inside your network.

The line stats from your modem (posted a few pages back) look good. To me it seems quite pointless for them to send a tech out to check the line when the modem sync rates are 100% fine.

I'd suspect it's more likely to be something like backhaul or handover link congestion or simply a problem in slingshots network eg: your ip address is in a rate shaped pool or something like that.

Actually I'd put $5 on it being your ip address or account being rate shaped by Slingshot (by accident).

I have been doing speedtest almost every hour, I got good speeds at 7AM this morning and since then it's been between 1-2Mb/s only and browsing is super slow. I have just done one more and now it's gone up to around 4Mb/s. There seems to be some sort of throttling on the line between during the day time, speeds become normal after 2AM and then again becomes very slow after 8AM.

See the results, good early morning, starts getting slower during the day and stays slow the whole day and now it seems to be getting better-

It's 12.38am and already starting to see some improvements but browsing is still not very fast but speedtest.net shows this, come on Slingshot, this can't be coincidence,whole day crappy speeds and late in the night it gets better-
