Have you got a master splitter installed on the telephone line coming into the house?

Before going further get a expert to check out the house wiring and if no master splitter installed get one installed. Poor house wiring is the biggest cause of ADSL issues like drop outs

Hi,

You can PM me your account number here and I'll take a look for you.

Also, I wouldn't suggest contracting a third party technician before contacting us because we might be able to fix it internally or request a technician to check the line itself.

Thanks,
Ben

dynalink rta 1320 <<< Those modems are absolute rubbish I had one when I first joined Orcon it died shortly after from over heating issues I had 3 more after that and they all did the same got hot and locked up until they also died from overheating.... As for using a different modem/router for you ISP then as long as it isn't locked it should be fine

Please review my first post in this thread,

Have you got a master splitter installed? I am not speaking about a line filters that go onto each telephone in the house

Hi,

I would not suggest checking internal wiring before troubleshooting thoroughly beforehand, simply because wiring will cost you and we don't know that it will even fix the issue with such little information.

I cannot help with the Huawei unfortunately, you could try and google the model number and find some walk through help.

Thanks,
Ben
