Hey guys,
Asked my account manager about putting in a naked DSL connection at a branch office for backup and was quite surprised Orcon don't offer naked DSL for business (not sure if they ever did?).

The situation is we previously had VDSL2 with an ISP then put in a 100mbps connection with the same ISP. The VDSL2 service is still connected so wanted a transfer to Orcon for redundancy of ISPs for that office.

Anyway the pricing starts at $89.90 for 5GB and up to $144.95 for 50GB which I guess includes POTS. While the cost doesn't really matter for me, I'm surprised that there is just no naked DSL service available!

There are heaps of other good options now that will do naked VDSL2: Vocus (formerly maxnet business), snap business, voyager, DTS, Unleash..

We do have a business naked DSL plan (10GB for $69.95 off the top of my head) however it's only available in our LLU zones. If your account manager said it isn't available it is likely you aren't in an LLU zone, but I'm happy to check if you can flick me a PM with the address.
