So today i noticed that my dad had missed a payment on our slingshot bill last month, so i called him and told him about it.
He then called slingshot to ask for the address to send the cheque too (he's old doesn't like paying via direct debit/credit card over the phone) the CSR said that if he didn't pay over the phone then and there that slingshot would call in the debt collectors. I'm not sure why dad forgot to pay but im certain it was not intentional. i do realise that most NZers have moved on from paying by cheque but i can assure you that my dad will not, please school your CSR's to speak to their customers with some manners in the future, especially to someone whos never missed a payment before.
